Summary

As in Ibsen’s Nora, the heroine of this story is a young woman of the same name who is in constant conflict with her husband because of their opposing views on the relationships between men and women.

Locating the story at the beginning of the 21st century, Gavran shows that today’s male and female psychology is profoundly different from that in Ibsen’s time, and that men and women have, in many respects, changed places.

Premiered at the Croatian National Theatre in Varaædin. Translated into English, German, Russian, Slovakian, French, Hungarian and Bulgarian.
