This is a book that has had three editions in Croatian so far, in which the author has compiled ten stories that, in a suggestive and concise manner, portray our contemporaries whose fates are shaped by solitude – the dominant theme of our time.
Miro Gavran's works have been translated into forty-two languages to date, and according to the latest data on borrowing published by Croatian libraries and ZAMP, this author has become the most borrowed Croatian writer, which is the best proof that he has won the hearts of readers.
