Literary and Theatrical Evening with Miro Gavran in Prague

Organized by the Czech-Croatian Friendship Society, a literary and theatrical evening with Croatian writer Miro Gavran was held on May 29 at the Jezerka City Library in Prague. The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Czech Republic, Mrs. Ljiljana Pancirov, along with her associates.
Opening remarks were given by the president of the Czech-Croatian Friendship Society, Mrs. Jana Krásná, to whom thanks are due for the excellent organization.
The conversation with the author was moderated by Antonia Furjan, producer at Teatar GAVRAN, while Czech translation was provided by Manja Tichá. Excerpts from Gavran’s works were performed by actors Tomáš Novotný, Monika Zoubková, and Mladena Gavran.
The audience followed the program with great interest and enriched the evening with numerous insightful questions.
The literary event was held with the support of the Central State Office for Croats Abroad.
