The premiere of the children’s puppet play The Wondrous Adventure in the Museum, produced by Teatar GAVRAN and directed by Jakov Gavran, was held at the Maksimir Cultural Centre on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
Jakov Gavran wrote the text, directed the production, designed the set, and created the puppets. The original music was composed by Nikola Čeme, while the leading roles were performed by Filip Tomičić, Luka Stilinović, and Zorana Vukić Gavran.
The play follows two mischievous mice, Miš Maš and Miš Pliš, who accidentally wander into a museum while searching for cheese, where their magical nighttime adventure begins. Through encounters with artworks and a bust of William Shakespeare that comes to life and joins them on their journey, young audiences discover the world of art, museums, and culture through humor, music, and interaction.
The premiere took place in a joyful atmosphere, and the children warmly embraced this gentle and witty story.
