Pretpremijera dvadesetominutnog igranog filma "U zagrljaju rijeke" prema istoimenoj kratkoj priči Mire Gavrana održana je 5. ožujka 2024. u Čakovcu. Film je režirao trostruki dobitnik nagrade Emmy Boško Grubić. U filmu glume Duško Valentić, Sven Jakir, Mladena Gavran, Petra Kurtela, Jakov Gavran. Pretpremijeru filma organizirali su Ogranak Matice hrvatske u Čakovcu i Turistička zajednica Međimurske županije koji su se pokazali sjajnim organizatorima. Film je pušten u život, a na pretpremijeri je najavljen i novi filmski projekt Bobbyja Grubića: snimanje filma UROTNICI prema tekstu Mire Gavrana.
